Welcome to New Orleans!
New Orleans was amazing between the food, history, and the craziness on Fremont Street New Orleans is a city you must visit more than once.
MY FIRST STOP : FRENCH QUARTER
This part of the city is the perfect place to stay and be in the middle of everything. On one block you have your hotel, then if you walk a few more blocks you have 13 blocks of BOURBON ST, where everything gets crazy. I mean literally every corner you turn you have music, dancing, and everyone having a great time.
Craziest Foods I Tried:
Fried Alligator was a start, surprisingly it wasn’t so bad but I don’t think ill try that again.
Tastiest Food:
Charbroiled oysters are amazing. Ill admit , I’m not a huge oyster fan but these literally are the best oysters I’ve tried. Definitely a must when you visit New Orleans its one of their most popular items!
Favorite Activities:
Laura’s Plantation, visiting this historic place was an experience to remember. Learning about the plantation and the history of slavery was something I’ll never forget.
Jazz Clubs, French Quarter is definitely known for this and the musicians are very talented.
Haunted Ghost Tour , definitely a fun activity to do if your into ghost stories. French Quarter is full of history with real stories of haunted buildings. We didn’t go in but hearing the crazy stories and the scenery in French Quarter is worth the money. Check out the attached picture below of me in one of the Haunted Hotels! In Conclusion, NOLA is a must visit and I’ll definitely return. Life is what you make it. ~Daisha Breedlove
