How To Stay Fit While Quarantining - No Weights Included

Hey you guys, I know we’re in April now which means Summer is soon approaching. That means for us ladies we want to have that summer body ready. We want those stomachs flat and our glutes on point, so here’s a insight into my routine and what helps me stay in shape.

Step 1 - Morning Meditation: I always start with my morning meditation. I do it this, even if I only have five minutes. I say, Thank you for waking me up and also I ask for positive guidance for the day ahead of me.

Step 2 – Daily Run: This can be done on the treadmill or even outdoors. Rather I run in or out, depends on what mood I’m in but hey, whatever works for you!

Step 3 – Leg Squats: I then begin with my leg squats. I know it doesn’t sound like much but trust me you will feel the burn. I like to do a variety of three squats in one. First I start with my left leg and I do 20 up and down squats. Second , I start with my right leg and do 20 squats there as well. You will definitely be feeling it in both legs by then, but if you feel like you want more of a burn finish out with 10 jump squats. You got this!

Step 4 – Abs: Next I touch the abs, with 20 sets of toe touches. Following that I do 20 of the elbow to knee ab workout . This will for sure hit those lower and uppers abs. Check out the video below to get a visual of how these are done.

Step 5 – Recover: I use this time to now slow down my playlist, and calm those muscles that were worked today. I start with my stretches on each leg and hold my ankle. I count to 10 then I switch and do the exact same thing to the right. Finishing with straight down the middle, counting to 10 also. This exercise is perfect for your lower back and the abs. It’s important to not forget this step or you can wake up with very sore muscles and we don’t want that.

Step 6 : Meal Replacement:

Items Needed: blender, protein (preferably whey), mixed fruit, almond milk, granola, apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Put the Protein in the Blender

  2. Add fruit ( strawberry & Bananas preferred)

  3. Add granola

  4. Add Almond Milk

  5. Blend smoothie and enjoy

  6. Follow up with a teaspoon of vinegar and water mixed in a cup. Now this wont be the tastiest but will help suppress your appetite and help your digestive system (that screams FLAT ABS)

That is how to stay in shape during this down time. Also keep in mind these workouts can be done any time of the day. Lets get it.
